What now Tebow?

Recently, Peyton Manning signed a 5 year, 96 million dollar deal for the Denver Broncos. Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, so the Bronco's are excited for his arrival, but what happens to the Tebow Magic? After leading a resurgent comeback to the playoffs, the Bronco's gave up on Tebow and are most likely going to trade him. This is a very bold move by Denver to give up on the "savior" of your franchise, but most people would if it meant taking in Peyton Manning. The future of Tebow's future is uncertain, but promising nonetheless.

Crosby's last hoorah?

Sidney Crosby is back in lineup for the Pittsburgh penguins Tuesday, his fourth game in the last 2 years. Crosby has been sidelined lately with ongoing concussions. Crosby's injuries have been taking a toll on the NHL as well, because "Sid the Kid" was one of the markets biggest superstars. It would be a tragedy if he couldn't make a full recovery. Sid won his first MVP when he was only 23, the youngest of all time. God only knows how many more he could win if he's healthy the rest of his career. He has reinstated several times that he doesn't know if he'll ever be back to where he was back when he was 22, he is now 24 and has only played 4 games since his MVP season.

Bye Bye Manning

The Colts released Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning Wednesday after 14 seasons of greatness for the colts. He was coming back off of a back surgery but the Colts decided they're going to roll the dice on Andrew Luck with their first pick of the draft next year. The Colts were a league worst 3-13 without him last year and now they decided to release him? I'm skeptical about the decision to say the least...

Uncalled For?

In this past weekend's all star game there was an unusually hard foul from Dwayne Wade to Kobe Bryant in which D Wade wrapped his arms around Kobe's head. The all star game is known for just being a fun game in where the final score really doesn't matter all that much, because no team wants one of their superstars to fall to injury. When Dwayne Wade's elbow connected to Kobe's nose in the third quarter of the game, he appeared to have a bloody nose, but it was later confirmed that it had been broken. Many people there were shocked and after the Wade apologized for the "accident", so it was just forgotten about. Two days after that hit, it was confirmed that Kobe suffered a concussion, which could be a long and pesky injury. The Lakers have publicly stated that they are not happy with Wade's actions and some player have talked about retaliation. Their respective squads meet Sunday, so it could get chippy. We will have to see how long these injuries bother Kobe.
